Where I came from

Unlike the others,
it's a country which divides twelve months into three seasons,
Summer, winter and rain season.
This is where I came from.

So many green and golden rice fields,
kind and honest villagers.
This is where I came from.

It's a free country yet knows not what freedom really means,
the civilians living under fears; keeping their hopes beyond their dreams.
This is where I came from.
